History

From small beginnings in 1977, and with a single, very simple, manually operated production line facility manufacturing a limited range of bulk only ruminant feeds, Davidson`s have today developed in to a highly efficient manufacturer producing a full range of feeds in both bulk and bags to suit all classes of ruminant livestock in one of the most technologically advanced feed milling operations in Europe.

In an industry that has seen huge consolidation and contraction over the same period, this has been achieved by a combination of a highly dedicated and motivated workforce; several strategic acquisitions in the 1990`s; and strong organic growth. This success has been down to providing our customers with value for money products that produce high performance in their use for livestock production.

Now with the second generation of the family becoming actively involved in the management and strategic decision making, we are confident we can maintain and accelerate this growth.
