Our beef range consists of well balanced compounds to suit most beef set-ups, a selection of nuts & rolls suitable for growing and finishing cattle.

Monarch ACE

A high energy, high starch beef compound designed to allow the animal to express its maximum genetic potential, whether for showing or finishing. Combining ingredients which optimise rumen performance and animal health, results in high daily live weight gains, a healthy glow and top quality meat.

Maize, wheat and barley combine to release starch evenly between feeds, to maintain rumen stability.
Megalac rumen protected fat provides the concentrated energy required for high live weight gains.
Davidsons unique ACE package included, which has Biotin which is essential for keratin formation is included to promote healthy hoof growth and enhance fibre digestion.
Bioplex Copper, Zinc and Selenium included to improve trace mineral absorption and retention and to enhance immune system and vitality in calves.
Diamond V XP. A fully fermented yeast culture included to help increase dry matter intakes, resulting in increased net energy intake and maximising daily live weight gains.

Beef Bloom

A high energy beef nut designed for feeding to all classes of cattle from suckled calves to finishing cattle. Beef Bloom will finish your cattle quickly or present them at their best for store sales. High digestible fibre level ensures proper rumen function, high forage intake, improved performance and good live weight gain.

Cane molasses completes the energy balance, designed to give optimum performance without digestive upset.
Megalac rumen protected fat provides extra energy to maximise live weight gain.
Ideal supplementation for grass silage based rearing systems or feeding at grass.
Bioplex minerals included to improve trace mineral absorption and retention.
Available as 6mm nuts in 16% protein level.

Caledonian Beef

Caledonian Beef is a good quality beef nut designed for feeding to all beef cattle, from suckled calves to finishing cattle. High digestible fibre provides optimum energy and ensures proper rumen function. Wide variety of protein sources provide a balanced protein supply to improve performance.

Ideal supplementation for grass silage based rearing systems or feeding at grass.
Bioplex minerals included to improve trace mineral absorption and retention.
Available as 6mm nuts or as 12mm rolls in 16% protein level.

Intensive Beef Nut 14%

A powerful ration suitable for feeding to finishing cattle that are housed on silage or feeding alongside grass. This ration is cereal based with optimal levels of sugar and starch. Intensive beef is GM free and includes Diamond V XP yeast to improve dry matter intake and boost daily live weight gains. Low in protein, high in energy, ideal for finishing your beasts quickly.

Blossom Nuts 16%

A good quality 6mm nut, 16% protein. Blossom nuts are suitable to feed to both cattle and sheep ideal when bin space is a limited. Megalac (protected fat), vitamins and minerals included.

High Magnesium Suckler Rolls

A carefully designed suckler cow roll to meet the nutritional requirement of beef cows in consideration of daily magnesium requirements at critical times of the production circle, specially at spring turnout and autumn. High Magnesium Suckler Cow Rolls provide a balanced energy and protein supplementation, as well as essential trace elements, minerals and vitamins prior to and post calving.

3lb (1.4kg) per head per day from High Magnesium Suckler Cow Rolls provides 2oz (60g) magnesium per head per day to meet the magnesium requirements of beef cows and successfully combat against grass staggers.
Balanced protein and energy sources ensure a healthy rumen environment and provides all the necessary nutrients for high milk production.
Megalac rumen protected fat provides extra energy for milk production and to improve fertility while maintaining body condition.
Better quality colostrum and improved milk production will enhance calf vigour and will help to raise a healthier calf, better able to withstand any stress.
Bioplex Minerals are included to enhance fertility rate and udder health.

Silage Extender

Silage Extender will replace 4-5kg of silage (depending on the moisture content). Making that small adjustment now will reduce silage usage by ½ tonne per day on 100 cows.

Silage Extender is a very flexible product and can be fed to all classes of ruminant livestock including suckler cows, young stock and finishing cattle. It can also be mixed with cereal to feed to fattening cattle, fattening lambs and breeding ewes. Silage Extender has been made up to the same value as a good quality silage with a high energy and protein of 14%.
Megalac included, this is a protected fat and is the highest energy raw material on the market.
Available in Bulk, minimum load 4 tonnes.
Replace 800g of Super Grains, Draff, or Vitagold which are wet feed with 1kg of dry feed Silage Extender.

It is important to understand that silage cannot be completely substituted. You must ensure that the long fibre content of the diet does not fall below 35% of the daily dry matter intake. Ask your advisor for guidance.
