Tell us a bit about you?

I have been brought up and stay on a dairy and sheep farm in Avonbridge, just outside Falkirk. I joined the Dairy Tech team at Davidsons as a Dairy Tech Data Analysts in January 2024 after travelling Thailand, Bali, Australia and New Zealand and working for NFU Mutual for almost 4 and a half years.

What’s your role, and what do you do day-to-day?

I am based in at our sales office in Shotts and I work closely with our Dairy Tech consultants supporting them in their role, inputting and analysing data to help manage our customers with efficient, profitable and sustainable milk production.

I also support new potential customers by offering expert services our experienced Dairy Tech consultants can give.

What’s your favourite part of the job?

My favourite part about my job is the team of people I work with and all the great customers I get to speak to every day.

What do you do to make you different to others?

By supporting our Dairy Tech consultants, I ensure our customers receive efficient, expert service every time creating a positive impact for our customers.

What inspired you to purse this career?

I have always had a keen interest in the dairy and farming industry and wanted to further develop my knowledge within the business and industry.

What are your hobbies outside work?

In my spare time I enjoy helping my dad on our farm. I am an active member of Bathgate JAC where I enjoy attending shows, stock judgings and taking part in our annual concert. I also enjoy spending time with my friends, going out for dinner and going on holiday.
